Kindergarten places are scarce, care homes for the elderly are always lower. Many family members live far away from each other.

The generation house NICE LIVING offers families to be all under one roof together and creates coeval individual freedom. The motto is "live separately AND live together". After the success of the house "home for life" from "NICE LIVING", the leaders conceived a house that brings together the different demands of the different generations and helps people to achieve the dream of their own house.
To create the best joint cooperation of the generations the magazine NICE LIVING surveyed 22.000 readers how the generation house should look like.
According to these requirements the architect Jürgen Rotenburger Lohmann designed a house in which parents, children and grandchildren can live for decades.
The 120 x 60 tiles ¿Rhine Limestone¿ from the collection sandstone of the brand Porcelaingres were used for the main house in the corridor, the entire surface of the parental home and the terrace. The dark beige colour and the uniform shade of this tile underlines very well the light and transparent architecture of the house. The size was specially selected by the architects to explore the overlapping widths very stylish.
